142 Days now

Sober is good. Real good. That is about the only thing I can say is good. Trying to pick myself up every damn day to not wallow in the depths of depression. I'm sure many of you understand.

eh

That's awesome, getright15! How's it going lately? I haven't seen you post much lately, maybe I have just missed it. I hope things are okay although I now it's been tough.

Congratulations on your sober time, that's awesome.
I also understand the depression. Especially for me in the winter.
But there is treatment out there, I'm not on an anti-depressant right now, but was for years. Maybe worth seeing a doctor and giving that a try if it's affecting your life that much.

Best to you in sobriety and I hope the depression lifts.

Congrats on your sober time! If the depression doesn't lift, maybe see your doctor.

142 days is fantastic getright15. I am glad sober is good.

I struggled a lot with feeling really low when I quit drugs some years ago. It was exhausting being so down. It did get better with time. But on reflection, I think I could have asked for help with that from my doctor or a counsellor. Don't rule out getting extra help if you need it.

Yeah can relate. Solid sobriety but in a depression too. Working on it though. Just think how much we'll really appreciate recovery once we get through.
