Happy 90th. I read your post and wonder what I should say about "something missing". I'm a little older, so you think I would be able to offer advice. All I can say is that any of this is better dealt with without alcohol. Thanks for your post.

90 days is amazing .

It took me along while to really start reaping the benefits of sobriety. obviously there were some major benefits immediately. No hangovers, no shame and guilt of what I might have done the night before, no sending texts whilst under the influence, better sleep, not coming to every morning wanting to lill myself. Which was all obviously great. But for this alkie I had ALOT of work to do on myself. At 8 months I was starting to really get proper acceptance around my alcoholism. Today, at 19 months things have really changed! Nothing external. Still the same job, home, family. Some same friends, quite a lot of new ones. It is me who has changed thanks to my recovery programme and learning how to live life sober. Keep going, it honestly does get better if you work at it.

🙏❤🙏

Good work on 3 months. Sorry I can’t help with what’s missing for you. I do know life isn’t always exciting. Sometimes it just, is. And that’s okay.

Three months sober is wonderful! I understand the feeling of something 'missing'. Try not to dwell on what's missing, but pay attention to what's there in your life.
