I'm so sorry, ShiftHappens! I've lost dogs and they really are family. The love we have for them helps anchor us, so let that love remain an anchor. Be the person that William trusted and loved, do that for him...and yourself!

NicLin that was very good for my heart this morning.
I am not even tempted to take a drink, or a benzo.
Im just mourning like a normal person. Sitting Shiva even though I was born half Catholic and half protestant and study Buddism.
Just feeling strangely empty

Thank you both so much.
I woke up this morning and went to grab him ( he couldnt get down from the bed by himself but insisted on being there) and he wasnt there.
Just a sad empty feeling.
Least thats wonderful. Im going yo print it and keep on my refrigerator to reread.
