Day 5

Good Wednesday morning everyone...

Just wanted to hop on for an update. Things have been going well. Last night was the best sleep I've had in a long time. No more night sweats! And my neuropathy in my legs and feet is all but gone. 😊

I've been trying to set a specific time to go to bed every night and a set time to get up in the morning. I know it sounds rather elementary, but it's baby steps for me once again...

It's easy to stay sober when you have no money, but yesterday I was very generously given gas money for my vehicle. I must admit the thought crossed my mind... Just how easy it would be to buy a bottle and sneak it into the house, but I quickly came back to reality and said no. I bought gas.

That's just not fair LOL

It took 3 weeks for my night sweats to go away. Gone and sleeping in day 5, you're very lucky. Good for you and keep it up.

Thanks everyone!

I'm so happy I found these forums. Now to kick Day 6 in the ass. Up bright and early, enjoying some coffee. Getting ready for a sunrise dog walk 🐶😊

Thanks 😊

Oh it does. I was sober 8 months out of 12 last year... The first month is always the hardest.

Good job. And my to do lists at first were the most basic imaginable: on top of don't drink obv, stuff like 1 make the bed 2 shower 3 eat twice.

Keep going and have a good sober day 6.
