We all to get share our experience .
Its very rare here that someone tries to privilege their experiences over others experience, but it happens I guess.
It's certainly not rare for people to think that kind of thing is happening - we're all insecure to some degree.
Noones experience is universal, which is why it's great that each of us gets a platform. I wouldn't let stuff like this irk you

I've seen threads about people getting hooked on trazadone & on OTC stuff like benedryl, so that stuff happens.
I was put on a drug - a beta blocker and that gave me horrendous insomnia so they gave me a script for melatonin - works great for me...but as I say noones experience will be universal.

Can be, not are. That's one thing that kinda irks me about this site. A lot of people here incorrectly assert that just because one is an alcoholic, they'll also be an addict for all other substances, which is absolutely not the case.
