112 days
112 days and I feel SUPER.
I just wanted to post this for those in the early few days/weeks. Please believe it really does get easier. It really does. I did not believe that myself, and so I tried my damndest to trust those who said it would, and I’m so glad I did. Just KEEP GOING.
And If you’re debating whether to keep going, remember that no one ever said “geez, I was wrong, I should have actively continued to drink.” Literally, no one. And there is a reason for that which you can only see for yourself with time.
Do whatever works for you. I swear by AVRT. It has literally saved my life.

112 days is fantastic! You must be feeling much much better. Those first three months were the hardest, it was always at the top of my mind, not worrying that I was going to drink, but hyper aware of how I wasn't drinking. I started to trust myself and get comfortable with my new way of life around the three month mark.
I'm really glad you're doing well! Keep going! It really does get better and better. I've had a rough 2019 so far, but even at its worst, it's been infinitely better than when I was drinking.

Sohard, I know from following your posts that you had a long and difficult journey over the past few years. Your achievement does, indeed, bolster my resolve as it will likely do for many others.
Making that Rock Solid commitment to Never Drink is the key, I figure... as many times as it takes. I'm glad you got to that place!

.
Bitchen Achievement!
I also felt like I'd turned a *binary* corner around 3 Months in. By that, I mean there was no turning back, and Sobriety was mine to achieve.
Here on SR, I found and followed your same Path. The discipline of always carrying around my own internalized Sobriety - and being the sole Entity responsible for it - fit how this kinda-Introvert is genetically wired.
Being comfy in your own Sober Skin is a stupendous feeling, ain't it?
Carry on...
