Newbie

New to the forum but not new to addiction Spent 15 years with my ex is who is an addict and alcoholic. Currently he is in jail awaiting release in mid August or September. He was approved for tte 12 step program and is for the countless time working the steps. He says, as he has so many times that this is it. That he's finally done. Only time will tell.
Glad to be here and hoping to find an online meeting and obtain a sponsor to help me with the steps.

Glad you are here. Are you working steps for you or doing Al-Anon? Not that really matters but just wanted to say you may also want to check out the friends & families section too for additional support on dealing with a loved one (or ex and all the feelings etc. that comes with that) who struggles with addiction. Welcome.
