Starting Over Again
Starting Over Again
Hello! I'm beginning this journey again. I made it to over four years sober, but relapsed a while back and have been drinking and slowly going downhill. I am currently at Day 10 sober. I'm hoping to find support in these forums.
Wishing all of us the strength to find a positive way to cope with life.

Hello AsanaGirl - It's wonderful to meet you.
I once had 3 yrs. of sobriety & decided it would be ok to have 'one' glass of wine. We all know how that story ends. Years of failed moderating & chaos. That's when I found SR. The encouragement I've found here has made all the difference to me. I'm never alone - and you aren't either.
Abgator - Welcome to Day 1 again - you can get back on track! Good to see you.

Your time is not wasted; use the wisdom you gained from the sober time, work out why you relapsed and what you need to add to your recovery program to enrich your recovery so it doesn’t happen again. One day at a time of course 🙏
