Couch potato and The Blahs
Couch potato and The Blahs
No cravings today, and no drinking today—thankfully BUT I have barely left the couch today, watched more tv than I ever have, eaten all sorts of junk and feel tired.
A little over 30 days and I feel totally blah—it’s not very motivating. Anyone familiar?
Hoping to get thru today and tomorrow will be better.

I still have days like this from time-time. I also had days like this before my drinking took control for a while. Nothing wrong with chilling on the couch every now and then. After a beautiful week,it's rainy/windy where i'm at and I had wanted to go to the store, but not sure if I will now. May just order delivery and go to the store in the morning...then I don't have to clean up either.

I used to get upset with myself when I was in the mood you are in. I couldn't think of any reason to feel that way, so I'd get mad at myself. After a while I realized its just something I need to accept and go with it. Today, I give myself permission to feel this way for a while. After a few days, I make myself get up and do little things to get moving. Eventually I will get back to my normal self. Still don't know why this happens, but I've learned to accept it, deal with it, then move on. Have a good, relaxing day. John
It's okay to have a day like that, we all do. I have found that getting outdoors and going for even a short walk is often enough to snap me out of things. There is something about nature that can change moods.
