To all this Christmas
As I am away from tomorrow, I just wanted to take the opportunity now to wish you all a very Merry "sober" Christmas.
Wherever you are and whatever you plan to do, I really hope it's a happy peaceful one for you all.
I will be spending mine with my wonderful family, fairly quietly this year but I am so glad I get to do this and there is so much to be grateful for since I sobered up.
To each and everyone of you, no matter where you are on your journey, I wish you all the best and a very big thank you for your help and a special BIG thank you, to all the moderators who do so much to help us all here at SR.
Merry Christmas guys

Christmas eve dinner tomorrow with a sober group, including a friend each from my inpatient and outpatient rehabs.
Christmas night dinner is with a group supporting a friend who just lost his wife to cancer. I'm cooking a meat lasagna and bringing some red wine for everyone but myself. I'm used to it, and this group was hugely supportive in my recovery. I'm not worried about it.
New Years Eve is the sober group....we're having live maine lobsters.
Two different situations, two great groups of friends.
