doing stuff & keeping busy is an important part of staying sober but I think you have to have a plan to specifically deal with cravings, bad days, stress, the eff its, and things like that - even if iut's committing to not drinkign before you post here first and allow yourself to be talked out of it?

Welcome back, Mummy. I hope you create a strong sober plan and post often when you feel the urge to drink. Getting back on your medication is an excellent start, but as Dee mentioned a plan to get through the rough spots is very important. I think committing to post here before drinking is a great idea. We will offer you plenty of reasons not to! Best wishes.

^^ Yes! I call all that "good stuff" and healthy practices the extras. On top of my fundamental recovery plan, they make my life better, healthier, more stable, everything. I had to start with sobriety and build a whole new life in recovery.

Meds are great for lots of us, and are an important tool in my whole strategy...and you don't have to wait for them to kick in to start that action Dee and I are talking about.

You can do this.
