We've all been there man. There's a way, many ways, out.

I think, honestly, it's important and true to see yourself as someone who keeps trying to get sober, rather than someone who keeps "failing". There is something within you that wants the sober life - you have to honor that, focus on it, heal it, use it, and eventually you will be able to fully access it.

Good on you for coming here and posting. Gotta get sober. Time to get to work.

Too late, drunk this morning.
I really needed there to be no booze in the house and for there to be some kind of concrete plan to make it harder for me to get more.

I spent entire days on SR here in the beginning. It was better than drinking.

It wasn't pleasant denying that desire but it was possible, and I'm glad I did it

I reckon you can do it too Pinnacle

You can do this Pinnacle

Get the rest of the booze out of the house, drink plenty of water, and eat if you can.

Tomorrow is a new Day 1 and we will be here for you.
Also, remember to go post on the October class thread.

Lots of people who are also early in quitting, or quitting again (my case)

Thank you for that. Right now I am feeling very vulnerable and raw. 3 days sober and I wish my husband could think of it this way. Thanks again
