I felt a lot better today, still had the shakes, and could only eat toast but man better than yesterday. Even feeling bad I decided to go to aa, this was my first meeting. Everyone was so welcoming. I do have a question, how do you go about getting a sponsor? I’m trying to do 30 Meeting in 30 days. And would like to get a sponsor as well.

I'm not an AA person, but I think you just need to ask someone who you think would work well with you.

Keep your eyes open. See who "walks the talk", that is, do they exhibit in their behavior what they say? Never hurts to ask for a bit of help from "above".

"When the student is ready a teacher will appear".

Thank you Anna. Yesterday man that was tough. And the night was insane, with crazy dreams and hearing things. I finally got a few hours and woke up feeling about 50 percent better.

If you are a woman be careful . When i went to aa all wanted to date me as i have beautiful face but it is not sponsorship. It is agenda. You need to connect to honest long term sober human. Its not easy so better attend meetings listen learn bond . Its my expierience . Big hugs x D
