Day 3

Good day everyone.
Beginning day 3. Day 2 was rough, pains in my head, anxiety and sweaty. I’ve done this before but don’t remember such intense headache. I remember brain fog for a bit though. Hoping that’s not too bad as I am beginning a new job next week. I wish I would have started sooner. Wondering what others’ experiences are with fatigue and brain fog? Thanks!
Wishing you all a happy and sober Monday

I had both fog and frogs up there I think! Nothing really seems right at first but things start straightening out the longer you stay sober. Hard to pin down a definite timetable, varies from person to person. But it's worth the trouble.

I was pretty manic at first so I was up early, or not sleeping well, and pretty all-over-the-place mentally. Fatigue hit later down the road for me. New employees can’t be expected to be perfect their first week so just keep at it and do your best. Good luck, you’re doing a really good thing, sobriety is well worth the struggle!

Rest really helps. The first 2 weeks are rough all the fog dissipates but fatigue doesn't unless you rest, so that's my main advice be kind to yourself small steps keep it in today and log in here throughout the days weeks and months while you are recovering x

Thanks all

Day 4, really happy to have made it this far. Pains in head still and extra sweaty, but overall optimistic.
I still use cannabis for pain management, but that’s never had me wrapped like alcohol.
I hope everyone has a happy sober Tuesday!

Hi citygirl, congrats on making it to day 4!!! I've never made it that far. I'm only on day 2 but feeling very optimistic like you. Must be something in the air.
