Important day

Today is an important day for me, only for me in the outside world, as I doubt the two people I've told will remember and that's ok and as it should be. But today I am 1 year sober. I wanted to mark the occasion here but it's not the real point of the post, which is I just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone here at SR.
I know I wouldn't still be sober without you all to keep me going daily.
So truly and gratefully, it is very much appreciated.

Congrats!

I made it 1 year too, on the 28th. That was my 3rd time at making it 1 year plus without booze.

When I came clean to SR about my 2 slips, it hurt deep. Carrying the burden of not telling SR was worse though.

It is crazy, but it seemed like after a year clean, I started to let my guard down.

SR reminds me.
