What the h@*l happened?
So I was drinking staring at this mostly empty six pack fighting over if I should have just one more before bed. Then I start thinking man what do I have to do tomorrow, I know I have stuff to do its going to suck being hungover. Then I started thinking what the hell happened anyway you were doing so good.
Thats when I woke up thought damn what job do I have to do today this hangover is going to suck. Then I realized you're not hungover you didn't drink last night that was all a dream. You have 5 months sober today. So heres to 5 months waking up with a clear not aching head.

Woah!! I was like nooooo, then so relieved to read it was all just a terrible dream! Congrats on 5 months!! So awesome!! I’m on day 53 and can’t imagine 5 months... just living today sober!! No other day but TODAY for me! Have a great day! Be thankful that dreams don’t define us!
Drinking dreams!
In a very similar scenario, I recently found myself in a hotel room, having finished a whole bottle of wine and wondering whether to go and get another one. Similar to you, it dawned on me that I wasn't supposed to be drinking at all! WTF!? There goes 2.5 years of sobriety and how did that happen? Panic, remorse, huge disappointment etc.
Then relief as I woke up and realised it was a dream.
Here's to 5 months! Congratulations!
