6 months, no drinks!

It has been 6 months and 3 days since my last drink. I cant say all days have been easy because they havent. I feel so much better though physically, mentally, and emotionally. I finally dont feel anxious every day! I am able to sleep every night..no nightsweats, no aches/pains. I am clear headed. Gosh, it is amazing what alcohol can do to ones body. I dont miss feeling so terrible more days than not! I am so thankful!

Sobr- congrats. I never got the purple unicorns and rainbows..no pink cloud- honeymoon recovery. It was and is hard work..but as you have said- well worth it.
