Day 1 sucks

I have been there way too many times. Day 1.

How the hell dis I do this to myself again!!?? I had 2 beers... TWO. In March and lost control, again. And now it is already April 11th!!?? Im done wasting my life away

Good, now you've run the experiment.

There only needs to be one quit.

But you have to mean it and do everything to back up that decision.

Bumblebee, yes Day 1 does suck, so make this your last Day 1. If you feel you're struggling, check in here often. And, it might help you to add something to your recovery plan. I'm glad you're back!

Yes. You can. I spent 35 years on Day 1 - now on Day 101.

Hang in there Bumblebee - you've already proved you can have the inner strength to beat this before now. As they say, “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”

It's hard to wrap our brain around how two beers can possibly lead to utter disaster, but it does.

I know it doesn't seem logical. I know you've got scores of people around you laughing off the idea that two beers can hurt that much. Truth? Two beers, and the 20 that follow, can kill an alcoholic and a bunch of people around him too, if he gets behind the wheel.

Two beers for us is deadly serious. It's weird but true. This time, don't forget.
