When I read the title to this post I felt like I have never related to something so much. When I quit smoking some years back one of the biggest things that got me through was how much of an inconvenience it was. Having to go outside to do something, having to interrupt what I was doing to do something I felt like I had to do. I think reframing my viewpoint on drinking to remember how stressful it is, and maybe even viewing it as a chore, is a good way to look at it.

Good on you for getting through the airport. The airport has always been one of my favorite places to drink . . . I have no idea why. I'm flying in July by myself and I'm already thinking of ways to stay out of the airport bar.
