Nicotine and Caffeine after quitting alcohol
I'm on my second week of alcohol withdrawal and the symptoms are getting much better. However, whenever I smoke cigarettes or drink coffee, I get denationalization, lightning strikes when I blink, a tingling or buzzing sensation in my head, and mild shaking. Is this normal? Anything to be worried about? I'm taking in about the same level of caffeine and nicotine as when I drank and before I drank.

Not sure about that because I don't smoke, but I did find myself more sensitive to caffeine in early sobriety. Because those substances constrict blood vessels, you might consider low dose aspirin to counteract it, unless, of course, you can't do aspirin.
Hi skyline
Is denationalisation the dame as depersonalisation? I never heard of that term, I'm afraid.
Have you seen a Dr about it?
The only other thing I can suggest is try and cut back, or even cut out the smokes and coffee and see if that helps?
