Beer
is my preference
If I couldn’t get it, whiskey, vodka, gin...anything like that, but not much...didn’t like any of it. Vodka and V8 and stuff- my version of a Bloody Mary was great, but I’d only drink one or two- never got drunk on it.
Beer, because I love it... many many beers
The entire time of my recovery I’ve been home a lot and there has been wine in the fridge for cooking
Never touched it and was never tempted
Because it ain’t my preference
This is just an observation I’ve made

After a period of time not drinking, I came to see that I didn’t miss wine at all.
Which was interesting as we had wine with dinner pretty much every night.
I did miss beer and hard cider for a while, but that passed.

me too...if you can't be with the one you love .....love the one you're with was my motto for a very long time. beer was my preference but I would drink anything at the end. progressive disease for sure.
