Age question

Just curious as to how many people are on this site trying to quit that are over age 60?

There have been a few age poll threads over the years. Here's the most recent one:

https://www.soberrecovery.com/forums...round-2-a.html (What is the average age-range in here? Round 2)

As you can see, there are plenty of over-60s!

I quit when I was 54, so not too far from where you are at. The biggest difference in quitting in your 50's or 60's I feel is that we have decades and decades of deeply ingrained drinking history behind us. However, as we face our older years, we need to begin living as healthy as possible to enjoy most fully the times ahead of us. That's been a motivator for me, and I hope it will be for you Bobdrop.

I quit at 48. At first I felt sorry for myself that I didn't quit sooner. Now I'm simply glad I quit. Doesn't matter what age. Better late than never type of thing.
