I know this was talked about but I am 31/2 years sober and there is not one night since I quit I didn’t dream about drinking . It’s my dream every night, my old car that I crashed is always in my dream to and sometimes I say no but majority I do drink and drug. Is there anyone else out there with 3+years still dreaming about alcohol every every every night not skipping one ?!!????

I'm sorry you have dreams every night even after 3 and a half years - I've never heard of that before.

Any ideas why?

In the end, dreams are always beyond our control.

I think the important thing is to stay sober when we're conscious

I don't have the dreams every night but they seem to come in waves. It will a while where I don't have any (that I can remember) but then maybe a month where I have drinking dreams frequently. I quit five years ago.

The dreams haven't stopped but they've pretty much stopped bothering me.
