Welcome to the family. How to maneuver thru what? The forum or sobriety? As far as posting, just click on 'reply' to respond to a thread or click on 'new thread' to start your own thread.

Lots of good input here from those who are in a similar position.

Getting thru sobriety is just one day at a time. Each day, don't drink, no matter what, and keep on doing that. After you've been sober for a while, it will feel more normal and natural.

Thank you!! having a hard time keeping focused on my sobriety. starting to feel like I can have a couple in a social setting and then worried how terrible i would feel if I did.

You could probably have a few in a social setting. However, if you’re anything like me, you won’t enjoy it. Having one more will consume your thoughts.
When I enjoyed my drinking I couldn’t control it, when I controlled my drinking, I couldn’t enjoy it. Eventually you go back to what you enjoy.

That is exactly how I feel. I am so happy I found you all. I am also extremely scared. I HAD to quit for long while. Then just kept the sober train rolling. Now starting to doubt myself.
