What I'm looking forward to...

I'm three days in and I thought it would be a good idea to talk about what we're all looking forward to in our journeys.

I'm really looking forward to Christmas. This will be the first Christmas morning in 10 years I'll wake up sober. I'll be able to remember and enjoy the looks of joy on my daughters faces while not feeling sick. This is going to be the best holiday yet.

Your turn...

I too am looking forward to sober celebrations at Christmas! First in several years. And New Years spent thoughtfully instead of frantically. 2018 is going to be my year. It really is.

Good ones.

I'm currently pregnant w/ complications & I'm counting the days until NY when baby will reach her 28 week development milestone.

I'm looking forward to December 8th when I will have 8 yrs sober!

But what I really look forward to every day is waking up sober with my dogs and cats on the bed with me.

I'm not looking forward to any one particular day, just ALL of the sober ones ahead of me!

Looking forward to not planning my evenings around alcohol and where I can and can't go to enjoy myself.

I am looking forward to my one year sober on Dec. 3rd. I am now at a point where I feel more comfortable going to events and things and not drinking.

Looking forward to reaching my fitness goals. Looking forward to working out and breakfast instead of vomiting. Looking forward to meeting women again and starting a new relationship. Just to name a few.
