So here is me, praying that I can make this stick this time... Right now things feel insurmountable. Need all the clarity and courage... I have managed to stay off the booze for periods of time before, this time I need to make it stick. Hope you are all doing well.

Tomorrow will be day one for me again. I found SR many months ago. But I slipped away because I still was trying to kid myself that I could be moderate. Not a chance. I ordered another copy of Under the Influence which should come in a day or two. I have really struggled for these last 3 + years. Thanks to all who share on this site.

its the 1st drink that gets us drunk not the 20th

we cant get drunk without that 1st drink

our choice is between miserable unhappy drunken drinking and all the consequences

or

not taking 1 drink

First hour for me... Just poured the rest of the wine down the drain not my mouth... I know tomorrow I'm going to be mega hungover ... And will want a drink In the morning to feel normal again... I can't live this way
