Hey, whats up ?
I'm new to this. From Phx, AZ.
Struggling with an off/on meth habit.
Im reaching out to see what options are out there, what has worked for others and if it can be applied to my situation.

Welcome. When I stopped using meth 13 years ago, I honestly just stopped. I slept for 3 days, I think that was the best part of the come down. I lost contact with all those involved in that lifestyle and started working out.
We are not all the same, but stopping was so easy for me. Prison wasn't an option and that's the road I was heading. Then a few years later when I turned 21 I found the love of alcohol, legal and socially acceptable. Oh boy, I am now 34 days alcohol free, 3rd times a charm for that!
Best wishes, you can do this. Being all skinny with scabs on one's face and arms sounds terrible, at least for me.

Wow. Congrats.
I'm skinny , but always have been. hehe.
Yikes, never got into picking.
I'm a functional daily user for the past 10 years.
I sleep and eat every day like normal people.
Work and school.
And I don't hang out or associate with other users.
I go pick up what I need and leave, like clock work.
I've quit before, and it lasted about 8 months.
I wish I just slept for 3 days.
Everything in me went haywire.
I went back to it for one reason. To focus.
Didn't drinking make you want to use again ?
Again, congrats on your sobriety.

While I liked the energy and the focus it gave me, I was quite artistic, I just couldn't do it anymore. My house was raided, I had automatic weapons pointing at my face right after I had taken a shower. That scared me, almost straight. My then, husband, ended up going to prison, blessing in disguise, and i just stopped before his sentencing, I thought we were being followed. I worked out in replace of the drug. I never craved it from that moment on. There were days I wish I had the energy to clean or what ever, but it was just never worth the potential jail time.
I didn't mix the 2, meth and alcohol. So, when I really picked up the drink I never craved it.
Thank you for the congratulations! You can do this, it won't be easy, but it'll be worth it.
You're so lucky to not have been a picker 😁 I was, I have 1 scared on my arm, but I was also very clean, like 3 showers a day, the drug made my skin crawl.
When you say you get it to focus, is there maybe an add or adhd thing going on? Maybe a visit to the doc would help with that. I don't want to diagnose by any means, but that's my first thought when focusing is the primary reason.
I wish you luck and the strength to fight this battle and win!!! I want to congratulate you for every milestone!!!
