Day 50...... I am proud. In my last post I was explaining how lonely and alone I felt. I decided to do something about it. Yesterday I went to the gym, ran, lifted some weights and did 10 laps in the pool. Then Got a hold of another AA member and we went out for dinner then hit up a meeting. I felt pretty darn good yesterday. A combination of exercise and spending time with someone really helped. Today, I'm meeting the kids & ex and were going skating. Life really is so much better without the booze, even on those lonely days. Have a great day everyone...

I have those lonely days too,but you are very right, everyday is so much better alcohol free than living in the impaired fog. Congratulations on 50 days. This is the good life.
