Happy Birthday Tomsteve!
thanks all and thanks, least for the thread.
but i didnt turn 50.
just 40 for the tenth time.
there was a time back in my late 20's- when i was sinking fast into alcoholism- i didnt think id see 40.
i dont think i would have if i didnt get sober.
there was a time after getting sober and being diagnosed stage 3 metastatic melanoma i didnt think id see 40.
i dont think i would have if i decided to drink over it. dont think i would have seen 40 if i didnt change my attitude.
and here i am 40 for the tenth time- still alive and still sober.
HUH!!
and life on lifes terms doesnt take a day off just for my birthday- i had to replace the pressure switch and bladder on the well pump.
and it only required 2 runs to the hardware store- progress!!!
and it was all good.
funny how a long time ago i thought 40 for the tenth time was ooooold.
i dont feel old mentally.
physically?
some days about 40 for the 50th time.
thanks again,all.
