Broke my foot...

Hi,

A couple of weeks ago I broke a bone in my foot after stumbling in the stairs, but continued drinking until a few days ago. I am terribly ashamed and cannot believe how stupid I have been. I am supposed to travel abroad in a week, but the foot won´t be healed. I also heard alcoholics recover slower from broken bones! Going to the doctor on Thursday and have these horror thoughts that the foot hasn´t healed at all. Feeling really worried and sad today :-(

OW! bet that hurts. your two best solutions here are 1) do not drink, period and 2) get to that dr appointment and then follow the directions.

I fell a lot when I was drinking. Amazed that I never broke something.
Lots of bruises, though.
Not drinking is good. Follow your physician's advice.
