Champions League Final
Champions League Final
This was last night and every year, for the past few years, I've watched it with a friend, we usually order a takeaway or cook something takeaway-esque and get very drunk.
However, this was different this year, but, it could have been a potential banana skin for me.
My friend though was very supportive, whereas he did have a couple of bottles of lager, he bought me some non-alcoholic beer, so I could still join him in a couple. First time I've ever had them and to be honest, they are quite nice.
We both had a good night and I am still sober. Today is Day 16.

Congratulations Tynesider22 on making it through this annual occasion 👍
I had guests over this week who are both drinkers and I contemplated buying non-alcoholic sparkling wine for myself but felt a bit uncomfortable with the idea...it felt too close to the former habit I am trying to move away from so I didn't...I bought some bottles of J20 instead.
Wishing you well on the rest of your recovery journey x
