Really inspiring post

I'm on day 2, I've had multiple day 1s in the past two months

Today at work i was considering buying a bottle of wine on the way home but instead decided to walk the dogs a couple of times and make dinner.

I've still a pile of dishes to do but I know I can actually get up at 6am when I'm not drinking and do them

I look forward to losing the bloated face, getting the clear eyes and shedding a few pounds.

Thanks again x

Hi Zombie,

Thanks for your support! Glad you made the choice to walk the dogs instead of buying the wine. It really all boils down to the choices that we make doesn't it? Had you bought the wine yesterday, you would be back to Day 1 and feeling like crap today. Instead, you're on Day 3, halfway through withdrawals.

The first few days suck! It feels so much easier to give up and go back to what we're used to, what's easy, what numbs everything...I know that I needed to do anything to get out of my head and going outside and going for a walk definitely helped.

Take care of yourself during this time. Remember HALTS and get plenty of rest, your body needs it. Come here to SR whenever you get cravings, it helps!

Hang in there and keep fighting the fight!
