First dry weekend in a long time.
Well - I made it through my first weekend completely sober.
Sunday was a productive and relaxing day. I did laundry, got my food shopping list together, worked on my budget, put some things down in my storage unit, rearranged my linen closet, read 50 pages out of my book, and even took a nap. I love naps, but alcohol has never allowed me to enjoy a nap on the weekends. It was 2:45 pm (a time where I probably would have been a few glasses into a bottle of wine already) and I just got so sleepy from reading that I curled up in bed and just took a nap.
My skin seems a bit clearer to me. A little less red in the cheeks than normal. Not sure if this is all from not drinking, but I'll take it!
I'm at work now for the rest of the day. Seems it's going to be a quiet one here - I don't mind that much, though
