I guess I just have to keep in mind how much I could lose if I do start drinking like I used to. I don't think I'd ever be able to just have one drink and I don't want to risk it. I have to keep in mind my mental state and how much healthier/happier I truly am.

That's right. The cravings are impernanent. They will pass. Use the cravings to change the habit pattern. Step aside from them and just observe they exist and go about what you need to do on a usual day. Don't take them seriously. You will survive. We all have. By just acknowledging them equanimously and not reacting they become a tool that take you out of the cravings. The habit of surrendering to the cravings never will. Nor will angrily pushing them back inside. They will only come back again. Let the cravings be and do the things you need to do on any ordinary day. Give them no more or less importance than you do on any other day. Just focus on being aware of them and focus on going ahead with doing whatever you need to do on any ordinary day.
