For my records.
I am writing this update to keep a log of my non drinking!
I'm not sure how many days have passed being sober as everyday just seems to merge into the other!
I have listed changes in myself that I have noticed both physically and mentally below, I hope to keep posting here as more changes happen!
1/ From the beginning of stopping alcohol I am drinking tea as if it has gone out of fashion, so far I have managed to burn out 2 kettles. I believe this is down to being used to holding a glass of alcohol which the tea cup is now simulating. Anyone who dabbles in stocks and shares might like to keep a close eye on the "tea markets" I am confident you will be able to retire on your investments within the next 6 months.
2/ I am eating cakes (Mr Kipling's apple pies) by the bucket load, I strongly believe this must be a sugar thing after quitting the beer. So far my weight has ballooned so much I am having trouble getting through the doorways. Again buying shares in Mr Kipling might be another wise move. (Note to self, Mr Kipling does not bake exceedingly good cakes like the tv advert suggests, they are just cheap)
3/ My teeth look better now than what they did when I was drinking, though half of them are starting to fall out!
4/ Anxiety has certainly reduced by half, I guess a lot of this is down to not living the routine dictated by alcohol.
5/ Depression has also eased by a considerate level, the morning feeling of doom and gloom is virtually non existent now.
6/ Sleeping is a problem, alcohol used to wipe me out by 10pm but Without it I am still up at 2am counting sheep, last night I counted over one and a half million of them.
7/ I am managing to watch a film all the way through to the end and understand it, instead of getting half way through the film and then trying to focus on the second tv that would appear beside it and losing all focus on the film completely.
8/ My balance has improved immensely, the dog is a lot happier now I am not falling over him.
9/ I can hold a phone conversation with a member of the family and not fall asleep.
10/ No more hangovers or headaches in the mornings, no longer taking pain relief tablets for this. Anyone with shares in pain relief companies might want to think about selling them rather quickly, I have a feeling they are going to tumble drastically!
I will post further updates as things develop.

Luckily I buy micro stocks now so I'll pick up a bit of this and that.
Problems don't seem like problems anymore not since Alice slew the jabberwoky.
As usual you are hella amusing and poignant at the same time.
Neat trick. Very glad to hear that you are well. I'm doing pretty well myself.
