Hello
Hi all, I have been looking for a site like this to connect with those who have similar experiences. I detoxed from alcohol and anxiety meds in July 2016. I am a little over 6 months sober. I did attend a wonderful therapy program but the connections I made there did not really stick. I was discharged in October and have one connection but he is usually working and is hard to meet up with. Feeling a bit lonely as none of my friends or family have alcohol or substance abuse problems. I don't feel like they understand some of the things I am going through. I am attending AA as much as my schedule allows and I have a sponsor. Hope everyone has a great Friday night!
