What a weekend
I'm thinking that your companion would enjoy the sober you. Taking walks, seeing sights, visiting friends, eating good food, taking in a game or a movie or a concert, working on a project, just hanging out or even running errands - none need alcohol. Glad you're safely home, and can get back to working your plan! You deserve to have a good and healthy life!
If all went so well, maybe you should keep drinking. Some of us are sicker than others and you my not be ready to quit.
You've been coming here for over a year. Are you serious about getting sober?
Just the facts and you may not like them.
It took me a long time to stop drinking. Now, six years in, I can have a great time out without drinking.
I grew up and got serious. I could brag about my debauchery, while drunk, to no end. What would be the point?
I'm a new, happier person now and still have my fun. I wish the same for you, if you're ready.

HopScotch. Last time you fell off the wagon you said you might give AA a try.
Did you do that?
It's great to see you back, but it is looking like perhaps you need some new approach to escape the repeated recovery/relapse cycles you are going through. Maybe AA could be that change?
