Husband new in recovery
Hi there . I'm new here . My husband is currently in recovery ..28 days. I'm having a hard time not being selfish..he barely speaks to me now and he's never home . I feel lost. Im really proud of him and I'm happy he is sober ..and I feel terrible Im thinking of MY feelings .

It's good that you husband is working on his recovery. It sounds like he's doing Inpatient Treatment if he's living at home. The best thing you can do is work on yourself at this time. Have you considered AlAnon in your area as a support for you?

Welcome to SR, Pita. Many posters here who have been in your position and are great sources of support. You might want to check out the friends and family of alcoholics forum as well. Early days of sobriety are tough. Hang in there for a bit. Hopefully, things will ease up.
