Glad you found SR. I am in my mid fifties and drank 6-10 beers everyday in the end. I have been sober for over five months now and visit SR daily. It was and still is hard but life is so much better. I promise you if I can do it you can. You have to really want it and be determined and have a good plan in place. We are all here for you

Thanks so much again to all who took a few moments out of their day to help me out with advice, links and encouragement. I am happily on Day 2 now so I have an accomplishment under my belt. It is small but it's MORE than I had yesterday. Feeling good so far and reading a LOT here! 24 more....

It might seem like a small accomplishment but, it's a major step for us. I really want to set my sights on milestones because the sober days will add up. My goal is to get thru today and start feeling better. Soon it will be 3 days for us. Glad we are starting this journey together.♡CR
