Hi DS- keep posting. Crying is normal. SR is a good place to be active and share and also to read a lot of stuff. There is a wealth of real stories by real people. Not a textbook- real stories. Keep looking there is a lot to offer. Getting f2f support is a must. Doctor, AA or SMART, therapist, Detox. What ever it takes. Stay safe- do not take risks- try to eat/drink water and rest and keep sharing. Thoughts and prayers for you, PJ.
Hey Daisy, welcome to the site. It is definitely normal to feel like you are going a bit crazy. Our emotions are all over the place when initially getting sober and clearing out your bodies of the alcohol. How are you feeling today?
Hi and welcome Daisy
Getting sober is tough in the first few weeks for most of us, but there is support here always
It's a little hard to tell you whats normal and what's not - what do you mean by 'going crazy' for example?
