Two years today!

Wow today is 2 years without the burden of alcohol in my life! I cannot believe how every aspect of my life has improved over the last 2 years.

Thank you to everyone for your help and advice along the way. I don't post much, but I do a lot of reading, and it really helps!

To everyone that is new to this and struggling, do yourself the biggest favor possible and give every ounce of your energy to your quit! Do whatever it takes! NEVER give in to that nasty alcoholic voice....
There is nothing better than being FREE!

2 yrs. is a bunch of one days at a time
with no alcohol added together to get
you where you are today.

Continue to stay in the day to avoid
anxiousness and stay connected to
your recovery support as you move
forward to achieve so many wonderful,
awesome gifts in sobriety to enjoy
for many more one days sober down
the road.

So funny how you mentioned nothing better than being free, as that is what I put in my screen name because you are exactly right, we are set free when we quit drinking. I felt chained to this world and other people when I was drinking, and now I am close to 16 days FREE!
