46 Weeks
As of yesterday, I am 46 weeks sober.
I am out in San Jose this week for a conference - I feel mentally prepared for the onslaught of social events. I have my coping skills at the ready and I know I can always go back to the hotel and work or hit the gym.
I have embarrassed myself at these types of events in the past and I will not be doing that this time.
Keep to your plans my peeps - we can do this.

I hope you have a great time at the conference, was thinking the same thing as Upstairs, one year right around the corner

Congrats on 46 weeks IP - life is so much better nowadays hey - have a good time at the conference, know exactly what you mean about embarrassing yourself at such events I definitely have that tshirt - a pretty large collection !! Satisfying to know that will no longer be the case by sticking to the plan - good to have an exit plan in place if things get a bit much and also keep close to this place should you feel any need to.

Glad to hear you had a good evening - I guess there are plenty of people who aren't doing what we used to do at these events after all !! Should be a much more productive event I would imagine and one that you remember for the right reasons.
