Day 12..... mixed up again
Morning guys,
After a great day 11 feeling positive, little to no anxiety and plenty of energy i've woken on day 12 with pretty much the opposite of all that full of anxiety, little energy and heaps of negative feelings.. looking forward to some stability, hopefully soon.. happy weekend to everyone

Sending better vibes your way. Hang in there , you can do this.
"Looking forward" is a great way to see (and a sign) that though negative feelings can sometimes abound , they will and do change.
Have you ever looked into mindfulness and or meditation ?

Yes definitely been meditating and practicing mindfulness but only helping me so much at the moment... trying to stay focussed...
Hey Dim! I think you are doing great!
I'm newly sober and am not qualified to give too much advice, but I know from quitting booze and starting that the early recovery roller coaster from hell DOES PASS and dissapear.

I love this poem by Rumi. It has some things to say about those pesky negative feelings.
The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice.
meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.
Be grateful for whatever comes.
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
Hope you feel better Dim -- as Scarlett O' Hara says, "Tomorrow is another day!"

Wow ... I ADORE that poem and it sure resonates with me. Thank you so much for sharing that.
I want to frame it and put it on my wall. :-)
