Lightning Bug

For me it was waiting on a road on my employment campus for a fat and wobbly alligator to cross. It took him a good 3-5 minutes to make the journey. I love alligators. Our campus has many living in the canals. They don't bother us and we don't bother them - we just co-exist peacefully.

My bestie and her sweet dog are visiting me. We went for a long walk on the beach so she could collect shells for her artwork. The sun was shining, and her dog was so happy to be off leash that he just ran. And ran. And ran. Back at the car, he just collapsed in his crate. He was snoring, he was sleeping so deeply. Had to laugh. It's like having a toddler!
