One week
I have made it one entire week! That probably hasn't happened in about 3 years! I can't say I feel the greatest right now, but I am sure happy to still be on the wagon.
Now that I am on the wagon, I am able to focus more on some other health issues that I have going on. Looking into seeing different doctors and hoping to just round it off to completely change my life for the better.
I am still completely exhausted. I slept half of the day today and had no energy for anything extra. I am not sure if that is from lack of alcohol or if it's from some other hormonal/health issues I have going on. This new existence is actually quite overwhelming and a bit stressful. I really thought I would feel a little better than what I do. But I am still going to keep on...one day at a time.

Keep on keeping on! What you are feeling is normal. There will be good days and bad days. It helped me to know I wasn't alone in not feeling so great. It's part of the process I believe. Good job on a week. One of the hardest weeks but it will get better if you continue down this path 😊
I think it's pretty normal to feel kinda icky when you're only a week off the booze. It took a long time to do the damage so it is reasonable to expect it to take a while to undo. Glad you are seeing doctors! That's something I still haven't done. Keeping putting one foot in front of the other and it will keep getting better!!
