Need support and prayers!
I'm 23 days away from one full year of sobriety. I'm 44 years old now, and I've never gone this long without booze since I was 18.
My mom is currently hanging onto her life by a thread. She's been on dialysis for the last 5 years. She's only 68 years young.
She fell and hit her head last night....she's in ICU now, but her symptoms have worsened over the last three hours and they have to intubate her now. The doc said there's a 90% chance she won't be able to survive the procedure as she's already way too weak and septic from infection.
I'm here in the waiting room waiting for them to finish....
I need support.

Best wishes for you and your mom Dyl.
I've been through a fairly similar situation recently - one of the gifts of recovery was being able to 'be there'.
My mum is improving - I wish the same for yours too, man

Good news about your Mum Dee. I read your post about her being ill all too late. Sending my best wishes for her ongoing recovery. You're right about being sober so as to "be there". I'm so grateful for that too.

Prayers going out. Please remember there is no problem alcohol won't make worse. I went through my parents death drunk and my daughters death sober. To be fully there is a gift you will never regret regardless of the outcome
