made it 30 days for the first time.
made it 30 days for the first time.
today was 30 days for me for the first time since I started my drinking career 9 years ago. The first week was really tough and today was extremely hard I'm not gona lie I almost slipped today but by the grace of God and SR I didn't drink today.
I've noticed now that I feel better I am giving my sobrity less priority and focusing on other things like eating healthy and working out. I just hope this craving subsides at some point.
other that I feel great !! I really feel good and the depression has really gone down ! anyone who's struggling in the first few days please push through!!! you will feel so much better!!

Congrats on 30 days. You might be having more cravings because you're giving your recovery less priority? While eating well and exercise are great support to your efforts, making recovery P1 should never change. At least for me.
Congratulations on 30 days! That's quite something.
In the beginning - I had a tough time on milestone dates. 30 days. 60 days. 90 days. I found that if my thoughts strayed towards drinking, I needed to increase my dedication to sobriety in some way. Coming on here. Talking more to sober friends. Going to more AA meetings. Something.
Keep it up. It does get easier.
