30 Weeks
30 Weeks
I am now 30 weeks sober.
Had a counseling session this past Friday that really helped me see the positives on my journey. We discussed my emotions such as anger, depression, sadness pre recovery and post recovery. The main difference is now I am in more control of those emotions and I am not reaching for alcohol to numb/remove those emotions.
Being in control mentally and physically is the greatest benefit I have found so far.
It is still one day at a time, but stick to your plans....We can do this.

Nice one IP - good to hear you're still going well mate - seems a while now since we started this journey, the best move ever !! got to agree being control is definitely one of the most significant improvements in my day to day life too, certainly makes for a much calmer / happier and productive life.
