Great kickoff Olives!
Sim, I was unloading the hd truck. I got there at 6 - well before - and claimed the truck. Picked up my lumber, returned truck in just under an hour and there was someone waiting for the truck. Being sober and waking up fresh got me first in line. Went to bed last night, no netflix, just turn out the light, meditate a little and wake up 6.5 hours later ready to go.
Of course now I have work to do... after my full serving of oats with about 2 cups of blueberries and some walnuts...
Glad to see new faces already!

Weasel, if I had known I coulda talked the wife into another Maine visit to have birthday dinner with you... and maybe do some fishing...
She always makes plans to visit places again - in her mind - but she has to visit every other place else first. If we live to 200 maybe we'll be back

I survived the night- I didn't see any roaches and I slept with the light on.

Every day I go to sleep and wake up sober I win! Today is 900 days in a row I'm a winner
Finished my oats, didn't get confirmation email from cabin place, but credit card was charged, I called cabin to make sure they had the correct email address, yep, just didn't get around to it yet... gotta love those hillbillies, the way to live life, sans the moonshine of course.
It is definitely raining 'good' here. I must look on the bright side, I can use the rain as a level to contour the ground, so it's actually a bonus. Keep carving the ground until I get the water to go where I want it - no extra charge... except my trenches are filled with water, I doubt I'll be putting down any wood today... it needs a few days on the rack anyhow...

Hi Optical - Bit confusing, this wasn't a "new" thread as in the previous one hitting 500 posts - although coincidently it was close to that number.
Because this is the Weekender Thread it renews every Thursday at around about the same time and is in time for Friday if you live in New Zealand.
Easy to understand why you would be confused
(Hopefully someone will make a better job of explaining it than me)

I'm not confused, perhaps my post wasn't clear enough. My apologies.
When a thread nears 500 the Forum Moderator starts the NEXT thread. Part 1, 2, etc. they don't automatically "renew".
The old thread needs to be closed and a link to the new thread posted.
Only the Moderator/ Administration starts the next part, not the members.
