Dear Alcohol

I'm not going to dignify you with "alcohol". You are little more than a chemical. Ethanol. You have given me nothing. But want everything. You want my job, my wife, my children. You want me. You don't care. It's death that you seek via a journey of slow collapse. You hide your shame. I wear mine. It's visible scars show your punishment. I am not yours. Never again.
